WRITE UNDER THE MOON

The Tragedy of Time

the journey is more beautiful than the destination

time slips by with the promise
of what’s left to come
but i am overcome
with the tragedy of rushing everywhere
and being at many places all at once
that there is no time to think
or feel
or process what is happening around me
everyone is happening to me
because i am just existing
chasing after time
while time is slipping past me
