but the past is you
it shouldn’t last
but your life shall too
be among the living
day in — day out
a time you’re yearning
has gone its route

a deadly game
to let it go
would be a shame

like a serpent eating its tail
going in circles
seemingly no prevail
through life’s hurdles

like rings on a tree
growing each time
you will always be
what you define

don’t fall behind
don’t change your mind

keep learning
keep growing
keep being
don’t doubt yourself
in a minute of failing
