What is love?
Oh baby, don’t hurt me
Don’t hurt me
No more

What’s love got to do with it?
Just a sweet notion?
Just a second-hand emotion?
Who needs a heart when a heart can be broken?

All of the above
So God damn complicated
Human after all

Love
Feeling
Emotion
State of Being
All of the above
Chemical reaction
Yes, oxytocin creates
And like conquering male lion
Destroying all preceding bonds¹
Survival of the latest love prevails

So not so spiritual, this love we hoist upon a pedestal

But one love is

Pure love
Unadulterated by human thoughts²
Without emotion
True unconditional love
Acceptance without motive
Selfless
Survives…
