Welcome to this long overdue update from your friendly neighborhood Moon!
CHANGES | Non-Fiction
We’re making just a few changes to focus our non-fiction section. Honestly, I’ve been thinking about adjusting our non-fiction section for quite some time now. Before, it was never an issue as the Moon naturally flows toward poetry and flash fiction pieces.
However, we’ve been receiving increasing numbers of non-fiction submissions about personal stories, advice, etc., which we’ve published, but it’s not the vibe we are looking for. This has resulted in the need to tighten the breadth of this section and keep it more moon-like.
Discussions with writing friends like Liberty Forrest, Author, and Nour Boustani really helped get the ball rolling, so thank you for speaking up and asking questions about the focus in this area!
