Time of Nuclear Energy
How much energy does nuclear power give in a year? More than you think.
A example that explain how pollution is affecting the communities is in China, a country where have lots of pollution because of coal. According to A China Family Adventure “The majority of Chinese energy comes from coal (about 70%), and most production in China requires coal.” To change this the government should change the coal for nuclear energy so the pollution start to go down.
Now that there is more sea level rise, we have to think more about changing fossil fuels for nuclear energy because fossil fuels cause sea level rise by destroying the atmosphere and making the sunlight to evaporate the ice. According to The Conversation, “ fossil fuels burning increases the amount of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.” This means that we have to start to use nuclear energy because nuclear energy is better than fossil fuels by not making greenhouse. According to NEI Nuclear energy “they produce no greenhouse gases”.
The cost of nuclear power is between $2 billion and 4 billion per unit according to Union of Concerned Scientist.
The solution that a have is to make the nuclear power in rural places and with good technology that will see when the the nuclear power is getting a lot of energy and make sure to turn of the machine when a dangerous thing is going to happen. According to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) “nuclear security plan can be achieved through prevention, detection of and response to malicious acts, and information coordination and analysis.
If now that we know that fossil fuels are making green gases and affects a lot to the atmosphere and nuclear energy is a better substitute for fossil fuels. Why the government don’t try to use Nuclear Energy more than fossil fuels and see if the sea level rise will decrease or not? If we keep with fossil fuels the seal level rise will not decrease and for the future many cities will be affected.
Nuclear energy is better than fossil fuels because nuclear energy doesn’t make greenhouse and affect less the climate change and sea level rise. According to Sciencing “Both nuclear and fossil fuel power plants produce electricity the same way” So Nuclear energy helps the earth by not making CO2 and release the same energy as fossil fuels without affecting the environment.
The earth need Nuclear Energy because is dying with fossil fuels and most of the people is agree but many countries as US don’t want to use it so we have to show them that our world will be covered by the water in the future and more climate change. We need to use less coal or throw less trash.
