Dear Nicole!

Sorry for late and short letter today. Heads down at work and then Jacob’s mom got in tonight for the holidays, so we went to go pick her up from the airport. Then we made crab pasta for dinner, Patty helped and coached us through how to cook king crab legs! It was really tasty. And I finally got to try a piece of my pumpkin pie :)

Really nice to have her here, happy that she gets to see our place and we get to host her, since she’s usually the one taking care of us when we go to visit. Then after dinner we watched Pulp Fiction, which I’d never seen before! Interesting movie. Long but really fun night, and only just now getting some time to myself.

Thanks for the pamplemousse photo! By far the best flavor. Yesss Jessica Jones is v good, I’m glad to see Krysten Ritter in a role with a bit more edge and depth to it, not just a socialite, flat, stereotypical “popular” high school girl character. Not as far in as you but excited 2 binge. Did you know it’s directed by the woman who did Twilight LOL.

We leave for China on Dec. 21, coming back Jan. 4. ALSO, Xiao IS THE MOTHER FUCKING BEST and bought me 咸鸭蛋 which made my day. I was so hype that I ate one plain for lunch. SO GOOD.
