There was a person. We will call him “Josef.” He was a businessman. By all accounts, he was a shrewd and successful businessman. He focused his time and energy on building his business, optimizing his storefront and his marketing. He read up on business tactics and listened to successful people.
Josef wasn’t interested in what was going on in his country. He focused only on his business, and what free time he allowed himself he played games with his male friends. He wasn’t a bro, he was quiet and focused. He didn’t read or listen to anything other than that directly related to his business or his leisure pursuits.
One of Josef’s customers was a professor at the local university. “A storm is coming,” the professor told Josef. Josef just nodded every time the professor would talk about serious issues— Josef had read you…
