Numbers alone are tragic, mind-boggling, scary.

Yet, it’s what we can’t see, hear or touch, that hits the hardest. There are no tools, no empirical method, no science that can quantify all the pain, loss, and angst that have been brought upon us by this invisible enemy we’ve decided to label Coronavirus.

Our tiny, pale blue dot, the small sphere of dirt and water we all share, had been through enough already, and the beginning of a new year, a new decade, could only be embraced with excitement and hope for better times.

Then it hit us.

When we least expected it. When we least needed it.

A virus, a disease, a silent but effective killer that spread through us like a snake slithering through dried leaves. And the whole entire world came to a halt.

Of course, our Millennial, Gen Z, and internet nomad selves couldn’t resist. Memes, conspiracy theories, and political propaganda flooded the worldwide web, riding the Covid-19 tidal wave. From reports of the virus being purposely…
