One person’s productivity booster can be another’s a distracting disaster. With that said, when everyone is talking about the positive side of work from home starting from avoiding the travel time, being in your comfortable attire, no need to face your manager daily 😉 even some people are happy about the extra morning hour they get to sleep.

Let’s try to see the other side and see what the negative effects are it may have on the economy and its impact on the upcoming years to come. Food stalls and hotels near the office
Think about those wonderful getaways for Lunch just to take some time off the hectic work schedule and those teatime quick breaks. There are not shops that are spread near office space areas that are dependent on the office going people as they form the major chunk of this customer base. This industry will be hard hit when work from home becomes the new normal. Unfortunately, they can’t work from home though ☹
Reduction in the public transport occupancy.
Yes, there will be fewer crowds in the public transports of the metro cities. Which can good for some people who are traveling these days and in an overall picture all the public transports which are running with less occupancy are incurring losses over losses which means those who have invested in those transport corporations are bearing those losses as well.
High-rise buildings that are designed for the office space
Think of all the wonderful high rise buildings which are considered as the prestige symbol of the people who join that company and also kind of advertisement for the company itself who are trying to use this as one of the glittering stones to attract the talents.
