Intensity-based writing goals can easily make you unhappy with your writing and lower your writing quality. Therefore, let's discuss 5 signs that you may be falling into the intensity mindset and it is hurting your writing.
You Start Your Writing On ChatGPT
AI is incredibly helpful in multiple different ways and I personally use it on a daily basis (typically to write code). However, if you find yourself going to ChatGPT or any other AI software to start writing an article, this is a major sign that you need to pause your writing and rethink your writing strategy.
You should write because you have something to say, not because you want to hit a certain number of words or make a certain amount of money. If you are starting your writing on ChatGPT, that is a major indicator that you do not have something of substance to add to the conversation.
