Free online tools to help me write better stories? Yes, please!

In this story, I share my 6 favorite online writing tools. They are my teachers who inspire me while writing, correct my story before I deliver it, and inspire me to keep evolving my writing.

1. Thesaurus.com — The world’s leading digital thesaurus

Thesaurus.com is free, tremendously useful, and I adore it. It is the perfect tool to help you find just the right word for your story. “Find your words and your inner wordsmith.” (Thesaurus.com on Twitter)

2. Merriam-Webster — dictionary

“America’s most trusted online dictionary for English word definitions, meanings, and pronunciation.” (Merriam-Webster’s SEO Description)

When you are writing and suddenly wonder what the word you are writing really means, Merriam-webster has the answer. Their word definition and sentence examples are excellent.
