7 Life Lessons Every Young Man Should Learn If They Want To Be Successful And Make More Money
Success requires sacrifices.
I didn’t have a normal high school life.
When I was 16 years old, I can already read the body of language of other people. Most of my former classmates love to watch Korean Dramas but I like to spend my time reading books about financial education. As a result, I didn’t have a lot of friends and people call me crazy.
Being different is a superpower and here are the 7 life lessons every young man should learn if they want to be successful and make more money:
1. You cannot please everyone.
Most people spend their time looking for approval.
But, rich people don’t care about what other people think. They have a different vision for the future. Do you think that Steve Jobs cared about what critics say about him when he was still alive? I don’t think so.
Steve Jobs became a legendary entrepreneur because he was a great public speaker and he emphasized the importance of design in smartphones.
2. Invest your time learning high-income skills.
Learning high income skills will change your life.
According to experts, here are some of the best high-income skills:
· Copywriting
· Email Marketing
· Social Media Marketing
· Ghostwriting
· Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Most businesses need these skills because they want new customers. If you want to be successful, make a plan for your goals.
3. Learn how to handle rejection.
Last week, I send an email to a CEO to ask if he was interested in ghostwriting.
After two days, he sent me an email that he was not interested. I was devastated. But, I still want to become a professional writer. After that event, I realized that rejection is not personal.
Successful people know that rejection is part of success.
4. Have a mentor.
Warren Buffett mentored Bill Gates.
Having a mentor will help you identify your strengths and weaknesses. Old people love to give advice to young people. And, we should listen to them.
Julius Caesar once said, “Experience is the best teacher.”
5. Read books on your free time.
Most entrepreneurs have a library at their home.
Patrick Bet-David recommends a lot of great books on his YouTube channel. Reading books will help us understand how experts think. They will also help us understand how to solve different problems.
Reading great books will change your life and it will improve your writing skills.
6. Exercise for 30 minutes every morning.
Healthy mind comes from a heathy body.
Charles Dickens love to walk on mornings. Alex Hormozi loves to go to different gyms. And, Mark Zuckerberg loves Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
Exercise can improve your mental heath and it can help you find new friends.
7. Write on the internet.
Writing online can help us build an audience.
If you write on the internet, you will increase your self-awareness. It will also help you find out your interests. And, if you did it right, you can receive a lot of job offers.
