Traveling through the moonlit night across the sand dunes, his lips parched, skin coarse, hoping to make his way home was a lone pilgrim.

His eyes wanting to find respite from the flying sand, his body wishing to retire from the tiring voyage, was a wandering soul.

A glimmer of hope, a few moments of solace, a comforting memory was what was seeking his fatigued mind.

As he was walking under the countless stars, he saw a shadow being cast behind him from the corner of his sleepy eyes.

Startled, he looked around to find a slim silhouette of a mysterious woman, her eyes meeting his in a pleasant conundrum of time.

Breaking away from the strange spell, he noticed her long black hair, her large shy eyes, peering from the veil, seeking direction in his wandering gaze.

They both walked side by side together for a little while, talking about a myriad of things hoping to be together just a little longer, for he had not felt soothed, and she had not felt heard, in a long time.

But they had to part ways, as he was a perennial traveler who was like the wind that knows only to blow, and not to stop.

And she was like a tree who had to lay down roots, to grow and survive.

But for a little while, they created an oasis for each other in the wild desert under the moon and the countless stars.

For a little while, their hearts intertwined to create a symphony that would last a lifetime.
