Over the past few years, maybe 2 or 3 but long enough, I had learned and mastered some random skills and to be precise, 32 skills. Some help me in my Professional life while some help me to clear my mind. Skills can be anything like reading a book at a high speed as well as understanding it or maybe memorizing a big pile of numbers through the major system, it all counts as a skill.

But not every skill is asked to help you in professional life, some can just help you to spend your time, maybe impress someone, or maybe help you become a superhuman, who knows? But the question that arises is can you learn that skill faster and achieve better results? Cause if you agree or not, not everyone has the time to spend an hour every day for weeks to learn a single thing, cause the human mind needs new things to do.

But if you ever have a question, about why one should learn a skill, anyone can learn a skill for different reasons and motivations, like one was bullied for not being good at something, maybe your crush likes something and you want to learn it or maybe it’s in trend. For me, it was just a quote…

And in the modern era, I don’t think it’s gonna be difficult to find any skill, you have YouTube, Google, and Instagram. You can find what’s trending and learn it. Nowadays, many YouTubers upload their progress video, which helps a lot.

But now the first question that arises is, can you learn a skill and how can you learn it? I will share some of my methods and how I learned different skills in different fields in less time with better results.

I will share some of my methods on how I learned different skills in different fields in less time with better results.

What type of skill it is?

This question has a much bigger meaning than you think, because… if you are going to learn a skill that you are going to use as a source of earning and paying bills, then I would never suggest you take a short way, cause short methods can skip some steps that might be crucial for that work. So, it will be better to give it time and learn it in depth. But if that skill is just something you want to put in your arsenal, then you can skip some steps. And just to give you some clear thoughts, skills like Public Speaking, getting friendly, or teaching a subject, all lie in the first category, either you are a prodigy or you just push yourself to the limit to achieve the best. But if you are learning a skill like beatbox, pen spinning, or maybe graphic designing, you can start learning it in a few different ways and believe it, even though Skills like Beatbox and Photoshop may seem useless, thousands of people are paying their bills with these skills like SARO or MB14, they are some professional beatboxers and yes, they have much more popularity than you think.

It's up to your level of learning how extreme can you stretch your limits.

It’s important to understand what type of skill you are learning. Not every skill will have the same way of learning.

How can you learn your first skill?

For instance, let's take a skill like photoshop manipulation or graphic design. Now right now I can think of two methods with completely different starts.

The first method is that you can learn everything from complete basics like how one thing works and how the other function works, the classic method of learning, everyone knows…

But this method will take a lot of time and patience and nowadays I don’t think anyone has enough time to do some boring things because I am a graphic designer and I know if a person starts learning from that method, he’s gonna quit real quick cause the starting few things will be much more boring.

Now if we start with a slightly different style, instead of learning everything from scratch you can open YouTube, search for any tutorial, and start following them. Following those tutorials will not only help you understand every function individually, but it will also help you understand where to use that feature helping you to open your mind. And the benefit of following 4-5 tutorials is, that it will not only save time but you will also be able to create your first artwork.

Focus on Fundamentals

Even though, you are not learning everything from the base, but try to have some idea about the fundamentals. Like if you are learning to do a BunyHop (A cycling trick where you live the cycle in the air at a good height), you can’t just learn to lift a cycle. Before learning a skill, you first have to divide the steps which will be Learning to ride a bike, then you will have to learn to do a wheelie cause these two steps will be important to do a BunyHop.

So, the first and most important step will be to divide the skill into different Major steps.

Can This Tip help in every skill?

The real question that comes to mind is whether can this tip help in every skill, for which a simple answer would be a NO! The reason for this is because some skills require a high level of concentration at each step.

So again, the same question comes to mind, why should I learn a new skill if it’s gonna take time? And that’s a simple answer because it’s gonna help in the future. If you are good at something, you can benefit from it in a million ways. Just give yourself a deadline to learn a skill and it’s gonna benefit you and as long as you are having fun, it’s gonna be a piece of cake. And by the time you learn that particular skill, you will not only open up the space of new ideas but also find new skills.

So in the end I would only say that learn as many things as you can because book knowledge can’t be shown everywhere but if u can spin a pen then you will at least look cool.

SOME SKILLS THAT I WOULD RECOMMEND YOU IF YOU WANT TO LEARN A SKILL AND THESE ARE SOME OF THE MOST RANDOM SKILLS

  1. Origami
  2. Pen spinning
  3. Back Flip
  4. Knitting and much more.

WHILE SOME SKILLS WILL HELP YOU IN CAREER AND FUTURE

  1. Coding
  2. Fast Reading + Typing
  3. 3rd Language

In the end, it all depends on how much you can focus and if you are passionate about becoming better than you are today.

Let’s just make a small recap in a step-by-step manner:

  1. Find a skill you want to learn (through social media, YouTube, etc.)
  2. Understand the use of the skill and sort, whether it’s a fun skill or Professional.
  3. Break Into Steps.
  4. Complete each step, without going into any sort of rush.

And before you would even notice… Wallah! U’r good to go.

Peace Out…
