Anyone Else Lost Motivation For Writing On Here?

I joined Medium in mid-July of this year. I was excited to start on this writing journey and looking forward to the prospect of potentially earning some money at the same time.
Earning money certainly wasn’t the only factor for me joining the Medium community and beginning writing, but did it draw me in? For sure.
So mid-July was when I was constantly seeing posts from people who had been awarded the monthly bonuses that Medium were doing. They looked great!
It seemed as though, that as long as you were putting the work in, publishing decent pieces of work regularly and engaging with the community, then you were actually in with a chance to get your hands on one of these financial bonuses.
It looked amazing, and I was excited to see if I could manage to jump on the band wagon and bag myself one of these bonuses as well.
I was engaging a lot with other Medium users, experimenting with my writing and becoming increasingly comfortable with sharing my genuine thoughts and feelings on the platform. Within my second month of being on here, I had earned a decent amount (in comparison to what I was expecting, certainly nowhere near the $100 club mark though!) and was looking forward to see how I could continue to…
