What can you learn from a romance author?

Julia Quinn is the author of dozens of historical romance novels.

Her books have been translated into 41 languages and have sold over 16 million copies in the U.S. alone. She is in the Romance Writers of America’s Hall of Fame and her Bridgerton series is now in Season 2 on Netflix.

Julia is 52, and lives in Seattle with her husband Paul who is a doctor of infectious diseases, and who she dedicates all of her books to. Julia is a Harvard graduate, and loves to dispel the idea that women who read romance novels aren’t smart.

In 2001, the year after her first Bridgerton novel was published, she appeared on the game show, The Weakest Link, and walked away with the $79,000 jackpot. 2 years later, she was profiled in Time Magazine.
