Actors who make a living at their craft deserve many accolades for striving in the entertainment industry thereby acquiring the title working actor. Mr. Constantine was indeed a working actor for much of his life on television and film.

He was an Emmy-winning character actor who appeared on many popular Television shows. He reached worldwide fame playing the Windex bottle-toting father of the bride in “My Big Fat Greek Wedding,” also he appeared on TV shows such as “My Favorite Martian”, “The Twilight Zone,” “Bonanza,” “Hogan’s Heroes,” “The Dick Van Dyke Show,” “The Fugitive,” “Quincy, M.E.,” “The Love Boat,” “Remington Steele,” “MacGyver” and “Murder, She Wrote.”

Every actor hopes for that one breakout role and Mr. Michael Constantine breakout role was in “Room 222”, an ABC comedy-drama set in a Los Angeles high school that was diverse and he played the role of the principal and won an Emmy in 1970 for outstanding performance by an actor in a supporting role.

“My Big Fat Greek Wedding” was the icing on the cake where Constantine became renowned for his work in this feature that centered on a middle-class Greek American woman who falls in love with an upper-middle-class white…
