Pastel petals, scattered everywhere

Drowning the world in pink

The sign that spring has sprung

A gentle breeze scatters your faint fragrance

Reminding me of home

Your pink is like cotton candy

You gracefully stand in the sun

Then your pink turns to brown

Taking spring with it
