Clearing writer’s block can be really tough; you don’t know where to start, you don’t even have any ideas on what to write about, and it’s much easier to just close the document down and get on with something else!

But every single time you decide to give up and try another day, you’re losing the battle with the writer’s block that’s clouding your creative vision.

So it’s time to give something new a try. It’s time to get serious about dealing with the writer’s block you just can’t seem to get past. Most of all, it’s time to look into some more heavy-duty ways to get rid of it, and with the points below, we hope to help you do just that.

Pick up a few prompts.

If you can’t write on the one thing you would really love to be able to work on, face facts and move on for a little while. You won’t get anything done at all if you’re just staring at a screen and willing an idea to form, but if you look up some writing prompts online, you’ll have the chance to form some new, fresh ideas that’ll get your creative gears grinding again.

Take some time to relax.
