Content Creators are Getting Closer To Virtual Coin Economy and Cryptocurrencies
How do creators make money on TikTok, Twitch and other streaming platforms nowadays? There are new ways to make money on these platforms and some are nearly associated with the world of tokens, NFTs and cryptocurrencies.
Content Creators just as most of the careers nowadays are more and more connected with the crypto economy. That’s because for a creator at the moment, the main way for raising money beside views and company collaborations is through virtual gifts that followers can buy and then give them to users during the live broadcasts, effectively giving them a credit. Every gift is a different token that corresponds to a number of virtual coins which have in turn a value in Fiat currencies (USD, EUR, …). Creators can then transfer the money directly to their bank accounts.
