While you consider quality over quantity as a principle, you will overthink every piece you write here in Medium. The good news is that you, and readers, will feel the high quality of what you write, and that’s how you will attract new followers every time and you will make sure that those who follow you will not stop following you because they are getting bored with your profile. However, the bad news is that sometimes readers will miss you because you are not publishing very often.

Same thing you will face with any other kind of business. However, people start doing their work with high quality and feel like they want to accomplish a work of one year in a week. But, what happens after one month is that the enthusiasm starts to fade.

Reason
There are more than one reason for sure, but I will talk about the one which touches my knowledge and experience as a product manager.
I believe that when we don’t have a plan based on a roadmap that shows us the tasks of each day, this will take us to a place of chaos.

Also if we have time, things that should be done in a week, shouldn’t be done in two days only for instance. I know that sometimes, financially it’s worth delivering what you are working on with less work days than you planned for, but we must be aware that this might affect the quality of what we accomplish.

Better if we give a task the time that it deserves to well completed, instead of having bad results and start fixing or redoing it again.

By the way, experience will teach you how to make an appropriate estimation of each one of the tasks that you should complete.
