Have You Struggled Just Like Me To Know the Number of Followers a Publication Has?
Try Latest Stories, to also know if the publication is active or not
I am guessing you must have already tried clicking the About section on the publication’s page but didn’t get the number of followers for all of the publications.
Well, every publication designs its page differently. You may try clicking some other sections if not About and may get the count of followers quite some times.
But here’s where you would find the number of followers almost all of the time.
On the publication’s homepage, scroll to the extreme bottom of the page and click Latest Stories. You would not just see the count of followers but also know if a publication is active or not, and if active what is the frequency with which it publishes content.
Lastly, when you follow publications or authors and if they publish some new content, you would see their profile pics in a sequence at the top on the Medium home page, just above the Following and Recommended sections. You would find their count of followers by hovering your cursor over their profile pics. But for this, you would need to first follow the pub or an author and wait until they publish something.
