Many studies have been conducted, gauging the prevalence of left-handed people around the world. The data presented on this infographic, most of which comes from separate studies from different years.
The Netherlands has one of the world’s highest prevalences of left-handedness at 13.23 percent. The United States is not far behind with13.1% while neighboring Canada has 12.8%. India with 5.2%, Japan with 4.7%, China with 3.5%, and in these countries, left-handedness is one of the primary reasons people attempt to mainly use their right hand with lefties often bullied, harassed, and labeled abnormal.
