It’s Good To Have Goals
Bite-size ones
Life can feel pretty crazy. I have these goals and aspirations that I want to accomplish in this lifetime. I mean, am I biting off more than I can chew? How do I compartmentalize it all to make sure that I am successful? How do you split up your life in five different directions? Sometimes I wonder, am I crazy? Probably.
I’m currently working on self-publishing my first book. This is no joke. Not only did I write it, but I’m also creating the cover, design and need to market it all. Oh, and the invest part. It’s a lot of hats to wear and a lot to learn. But writing is like breathing to me. I love it and so I need to prioritize time and space for it.
In addition, I’m a cofounder of a company called Empower Your Thoughts with my soul sisters. This is a passion project, a business in service to humanity, and what fuels my soul. This helps me stay grounded in a shaky world.
And for fun, I also work a nine to six J.O.B., spending fifty plus hours (including commuting) of my time being a cog in a wheel. Don’t get me wrong, I actually like the company I work for, but it takes a lot of my time. Not to mention healthcare and paying the bills is a priority in this world of adulting. My kid needs new shoes soon.
