It’s rude to say you want to wait for marriage before having children

Earlier this year, I was bombarded with the dreadful (but positive) question, I don’t know if it’s because I was turning the big 3–0 or if people didn’t and don’t have better things to ask.

It’s a pending question in everyone’s tongue, your cousin, your auntie, your grandmother, your neighbour, your old friend from secondary school, yes even your mother (background sound of betrayal), it feels like everyone wants to ask, especially when they have done it too.

Obviously, I want it someday.
