I love Alaska because I love exploring new people, places, and things. There are plenty of new people, places, and things in Alaska. It is a big state, and I am lucky to have a job where I travel to new places so I can meet new people and see new things.

New Places

I was in Sitka, Alaska for the first-time last week. I brought my mountain bike with me on the Ferry and had an opportunity to go for a ride while I was there. I visited the oldest church in the State of Alaska and took a few pictures.

Warning Signs

I went for a ride through the park and stopped to read the warning sign about Bears in the area. I did not see any bears, but I did keep my eye out for them. I wanted to say hello, not hunt them. They usually hide from humans because some people like to hunt them still.

Hidden Spots

Alaska is a beautiful state to explore in. Some people hike, some people climb, some are spelunkers. I like to ride my mountain bike when exploring. There are many unexplored places in Alaska.
