I recently moved to Juneau, Alaska after working here extensively over the past three years. I planned ahead and purchased a home before I arrived. Centrally located between work and downtown Juneau, I am enjoying my decision for a variety of reasons. Juneau, Alaska, has all the aspects of the Alaskan experience that I know and love.

Life in Alaska

I relocated from a smaller town two hundred miles south, so I am familiar with the nuances of life in Alaska. Many of the creature comforts humans find appealing are available in Juneau, but it is also a nature lovers paradise.

Real Life in Alaska

For starters, a fisherman’s paradise, a whale watcher destination, an eagle’s nest, a hiker’s dream, and a history buff wonderland describe Juneau, Alaska. But what about the average resident? What do they do on their time off?
