I've never been a fan of those 'get to know me' games on social media. Perhaps my dislike stems from the same place as my dislike for writing cards. Yes, I know that's an odd statement for someone who identifies as a writer, but it would be an understatement to say I don't like writing short. This is part of the reason I've been challenging myself with the short-form pieces in The Daily Cuppa (Thank you for allowing me to stretch my writing wings there, Katie!)

Nevertheless, I'm once again jumping on a 10 Things bandwagon — this time inspired by Mary DeVries's prompt in 10 Things I Have to Live Without But Really Wish I Still Had.

With one proviso. I'm not listing people or pets. That's not to say I don't miss them and love them deeply, but a reflection of how long the list would be.

So without further ado and in no particular order …

1. My Old Lungs

Yes, I get that they were manky and failing. They also sucked at the whole breathing caper … but that manky old trade-in pair was mine. Of course, that's not to say I don't love my new lungs or who I have become now that an adjustment has seen me evolve to Sandi 2.0.
