Nothing Worthwhile Comes Easily — Not At First
It doesn’t get easier, you just get better
A while back, I was a panelist at a forum focusing on human rights issues across supply chains within the South East Asian region.
Speaking as a representative from my company, I shared the journey my company embarked on, the challenges we faced, and the adversities we had to overcome to be compliant according to what our customers need us to be, and according to international laws and standards.
Bear in mind, after many years, we’re still on that journey as we have not reached to the levels that we aim to be at.
But, things have gotten slightly easier as we adapted to the changes, and learned as many lessons along the way.
And that’s just the way things are — especially life in general.
