A poem of remembering, appreciation and unity.
It was the day after Christmas
and all was quiet
as so many reflect on
the essence of Christmas
and how they enjoyed their
family and friends
lots of love and fun
was all in the air
so much, with much love to spare
even strangers felt the love
that hovered over like a dove
too bad Christmas can’t be every day
nevertheless, Christ love is the only way
happy Kwanzaa, Umoja, unity
praying for a better 2022, Happy New Year!
