The Chefs in Action at Curious Kitchen

Arouse your curiosity at curious kitchen with their new gourmet tacos & sandwiches menu! Located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, I was invited and had the pleasure of meeting the lovely people at Curious Kitchen to taste a new menu where great is pushed beyond its limits to awesome! Inspired by their time in Las Vegas, the chefs have created a Tacos and Sandwich menu with an exciting twist.

Having personally spent a few years in the states, I was expecting the Mexican tacos which are usually wrapped and baked in a crunchy tortilla. The Tacos here on the other hand, weren’t crunchy and seemed more like a wrap which doesn’t risk going cold nor soggy, but in fact, contained the sauce and goodness within before delighting the diner with an eruption of flavour with every bite.

My personal favourites are as follows:

BLT Eggxtra (Sandwich)(RM 25)

The ciabatta was toasted to perfection with the wasabi mayo giving it a dash of spicy yet blending well with the overall flavours and the lettuce giving it a refreshing crunch.

Chashu (Sandwich)(RM 25)

Already famous for their Iberico pork, no surprise that the meat was absolutely flavourful and tender. Guaranteed to make you crave for more.

Seoul Kimchi (Tacos)(RM 25)

The delicious flavours from the home made kimchi mixed with the tender & juicy pork belly was absolute perfection.

Although this bistro was a little daring with their choices, it all came together like a well rehearsed orchestra.
