Hi There….. Are you ready for a follow-up review on the natural products of the most recent JouwBox?

What better way to take care of yourself than with natural products, right? 😃

I am dedicating this blog post specifically to the men that are following me because I neglected them last time. Someone pointed out to me that if 80% of my followers are female, it means I left 20% of them in the cold. Not acceptable. 😳

That reminds me of a time I was waiting for a bus when it was freezing outside. My boots were at their end and the soles were wearing thin, so it seemed as if the cold from the pavement went straight through them. 😵

It was getting later in the evening, and I had just missed the bus. That meant I would have to wait for another hour for the next one. Ooh, yes, precisely what I needed. 😏

No, of course not, and to make the situation worse, I failed to take my gloves with me that morning as I left, so my hands felt like ice cubes. I don’t know what happened, but it took 2 hours instead of one for the bus to show up. When I finally got home, it chilled me to the bone, and I had to wrap myself in a blanket to get some warmth into my body again. 😬

Safe to say that being left in the cold is no fun. Then again, I dedicated my blog post of the 12th of May to men. Still, I could consider doing a gift guide for men 2 times a year to restore the balance. 😉

The natural products I tried this time are both for men and women, so no worries. Let’s see what you can find in the JouwBox to take care of yourself. 😍

OOLABOO — ECO SHAMPOO BAR 70G

The Oolaboo super foodies eco shampoo bar is shampoo in a solid form, which gives the hair a great shine and condition. Specially added vegetable oils, such as olive oil and sunflower oil, provide hydration to the hair. Argan oil and jojoba oil provide elasticity and protection. Glycerine provides a brilliant shine.

Panthenol, or provitamin B5, calms and restores the scalp and also ensures shiny hair, and has an anti-static effect. A rose-like scent provides a pleasant fragrance experience.

My opinion on the shampoo bar.

I just love the way this shampoo bar smells. You use the shampoo bar by rubbing it between your wet hands or rubbing it directly over your wet hair.

The soap foams well and you can use it just like you normally do with shampoo. It is perfect for travel and especially by plane. I would recommend though to buy yourself a soap dish to let it dry out. 😊

ERICA — SHOWER BAR POWER HIBISCUS

Treat yourself to this solid shower bar with nourishing shea butter, sweet almond oil, and aloe vera extract. Surround yourself with the floral scents of chamomile and Indian lotus. Economical in use and suitable for daily cleaning. Use: Apply the shower bar to damp skin while showering and massage the soft foam. Rinse your body thoroughly with water. Store the bar in a dry place after use.

My opinion on the shower bar.

Perhaps this bar was not the one for me, because I threw it away as soon as I tried it out. No, not on purpose, but it slipped out of my hands and flew through the sky, and landed on the other side of the shower.

It is kinda slippery so take your precautions, but it also leaves your skin creamy and soft. I have to say. I am a fan, and it smells heavenly too. A great travel companion also, if you ask me. No liquids oozing out in your luggage. 😎

LEMON-AID — CHARITEA RED

ChariTea is a real brewed tea made from real tea leaves. Only lightly sweetened with agave syrup, very low in calories. No extracts or concentrates used, and no artificial flavors added. ChariTea is the iced tea brand of Lemonaid Beverages. They started the #drinkinghelps revolution in 2009 in Hamburg, to provide a better and more social alternative to the well-known soft drink giants. How? With every bottle, they support social projects in the home countries of the ingredients (Sri Lanka, India, South Africa, Rwanda, Mexico, Paraguay). They have already invested more than € 5,000,000 in over 40 different local projects. In addition, the ingredients are organic and Fairtrade certified.

My opinion on the Lemon-aid.

To be honest, I wasn’t looking forward to tasting this one. I have tried all kinds of ice tea and none has ever persuaded me to become a fan. Since my Gastric Bypass, I don’t drink any more cola zero or any other kind of lemonade. When it comes to drinking, I am very picky. All I drink now is tea, water, and orange juice. Yes, that’s the end of the list, nothing more to add, no alcohol, no coffee. 😋

Oh yes, I realize it’s boring, That was before this Lemon-aid crossed my path. Since it is only lightly sweetened it doesn’t pose any problems concerning dumpings. This is in my opinion a perfect drink for people that went through Gastric Bypass surgery. I would recommend putting it in the fridge a few hours before drinking it. 😄
