Writing is a creative art, at least to me. As writers, we all create interesting or unique titles in hopes of getting views. But if you care about your readers, you’ll make sure that the content of your writing is actually good. Some writers choose to give their posts amazing titles but their content has little to no value.

You’ve been tricked.

I love a good headline as much as the next person but it frustrates me when the writing doesn’t live up to my expectations. There have been so many times that I’ve read something that promised to help me become a better writer or how to make money online and it’s just a bunch of random thoughts and affiliate links. Now, I have nothing against opinions and affiliate links but when it's clear that the writer is more concerned about what they can benefit from your views, it’s a turnoff.

When I look for writing tips, I always find a regurgitated mess of words that I’ve seen way too many times before. I’m promised the ultimate guide to become a better writer but once I read the article, it says something generic like write and read more. I instantly want to reclaim the time I wasted reading it. The crazy part about it is that those posts are usually at the top of searches.
