And why do we need to replace one word with several?
There is something afoot. Why have we replaced one word with two, three, and more? A single term is no longer enough of a descriptor. It leaves too much subjective interpretation. Thus, like waistlines, our vocabulary has undergone expansion. I am no linguist. But I sense our speech has been hijacked.
