Frustration and writing often go hand in hand, here are ways to move through it quickly and with your sanity intact.
What’s the big deal? All you need is a notebook and pen and a little time, and volia writing is created, right?
It sounds simple and sometimes it can be, but as you and I know, there are hidden potholes along every road, and just like quicksand, once you fall into one it can be hard to claw your way free.
Writing is not the romantic pastime it is often portrayed to be. Putting the same old words into new and dazzling forms on a blank page is work. Even after you’ve consumed countless ‘how to’ books by all your favorite authors and attended every creativity workshop and ‘masterclass’ you could afford, the blank page remains.
So, when procrastination doesn’t waste enough time, and you can’t avoid the looming deadline any longer, what can you do to kick start the flatline of your creativity?
