The Importance Of Authenticity As A Writer
Having your own voice as a writer will determine whether your long-term success is a good one or a bad one
Being a writer is such an easy thing to do as almost everyone is a writer nowadays. You’d probably be able to find a writer if you look at every nook and cranny.
However, whether you succeed as a writer is a very different story.
While everyone can be a writer and write, not everyone will end up being a good writer who succeeds in writing.
Of course, how you view success as a writer is also subjective to the individual, but on the average, successful writers would be those who have garnered a set number of audience, writes consistently good pieces, and can sustain themselves with their writing.
Or at the very least, they continue to find joy and fulfilment in their writing.
So, how do you become a successful writer then?
Authenticity IS key
Personally, I believe that the first step to being not just a good writer, but a successful one at that, is by being authentic — by being you.
