Vivienne Westwood born in 1941 and died in 2022 at age 81 was a punk rock fashion legend whose trademark hair color was a bright shade of orange. She was an English designer who became synonymous with the movement’s style and attitude. Westwood was born to be a designer who was self-taught. She would follow patterns or purchase clothing to be taken apart and reattached as she taught herself how to be a designer in her own right.
While she was born to be a designer, she designed up until the day she died. She was working on her art, writing her book, and changing the world for the better.
