When Life Comes To A Sudden Halt Get Ready For The Next Big Leap
It’s about what happens in the period between departure and arrival
We move along this path of Life like a river flowing down a stream. We are not always certain what awaits us. Sometimes it is a smooth ride, and just when we think we’re comfortable and happy, we bump up against protruding rocks that upset our flow. We jerk. No sooner we pass over that, we experience calm again.
No matter how much we enjoy the calm in a moment or despise the jerkings we must endure, nothing lasts. We continue flowing along until we get carried to the next place, again unsure of what’s waiting on the other side.
While we are often excited to get to our destination, the value isn’t much in the arrival. It is who we become along the way. It’s the decisions we make when we come up against obstacles or when the condition isn’t to our expectations.
It’s what we choose to do when our paths intersect with tides, changes, and rough waters. These sudden upheavals and transformations slowly but surely move us toward the beautiful but terrifying process of becoming. We continue regardless of…
