A story about me, my journey and everything in between.

On May 16th, 2000 under pluto’s reign, the universe got a name right. Out of stardust and flames, Skye came to be. Born into a family of six and residing in a small countryside town with a population of a little under 1600, her version of the world was limited. Without much access to the world beyond the trees that towered her childhood home, an unhealthy household, bullying, and multiple traumatic experiences Skye shut the world out at a very young age.

At a young age, she and her siblings took on the role of caretaker to their mom. The majority of Skye’s time was stressful, tedious, and on a good day, sunny if she stepped outside with her siblings.

As time slowly passed she formed into the typical loner girl until she entered the world of literature. Something she would soon find herself infatuated with. It started with books and eventually led to short stories and her last stop, poetry. Eventually, writing became her only source of pure happiness. With the ability to morph anything into whatever she wanted, her creative mind sparked consistently, creating piece after piece.

In her fifteenth year, Skyes’ family moved to the city. Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to be exact. It was here that she discovered more about herself, participated in her first Creative Writing class, and fell into a love for art. As time went her heart would expand to accept philosophy, astrology, theology, psychology, occultism, and history. This influx of knowledge led her to Buddhism, something she would soon become an avid lover of.

As of 2021 Skye has written over two hundred pieces and is now in pursuit of sharing them with the world.
