The Second-Gen Tesla Roadster Concept was unveiled in 2017 with a release date of 2020. We’re now nearing the end of 2021, almost two full years after its initial release date and guess what? We haven’t heard anything about the Roadster and when it will finally release to the market. The question is, where is the Tesla Roadster?
What Is the Tesla Roadster?
Well, lets put it this way. The original Tesla roadster was an EV Sports Car manufactured and sold by Tesla Motors from 2008–2012. The Roadster was the first highway legal serial production all-electric car to use lithium-ion battery cells as well as the first production all-electric car to travel more than 200 mile per charge. 200 miles in 2021 terms for EV’s doesn’t sound that great, but 10–15 years ago, it was quite an accomplishment.
