Why it is impossible to be happy if you have everything in life?
What makes the main character of a story important? A desire! What makes a story worth reading? The character’s perseverance!
The main character must always have an aspiration. The greater the yearning of the character, the better the story is.
Like the desire of the main character gives meaning to their story, it does to your life as well.
What came across me yesterday is; why do feel unfulfilled when I have everything in life including a loving family, sustenance, and good health. But hope is what pushes me and everyone else forward in life, that's what gives my story meaning.
The wishes that are yet to come true make me keep going. If I have everything I might feel contented, and contentment is not equal to fulfillment.
The things that you are waiting for and anticipating in this life keep you going.
To feel complete, you need to be incomplete first.
If you have everything in life, you can’t be happy, the missing element is desire.
You don’t have a story if you don’t desire anything in life.
The essence that gives meaning to life, is wanting something, needing something, otherwise, your life is virtually useless.
Hence you can’t be happy if you have everything you want. If you don’t have anything you wish for, then you must.
I pity you if you have everything in life; money? love? beauty? everyone does. What about the burning desire that sets you apart?
Your life’s worth is in the drive that takes you to your destination, the longer and more thrilling it is, the more beautiful.
