Wild, Wild Card

A Tale of Circumstance

It was a tick of time
To draw a special card
Daunted he faltered
Without even knowing his card

He picked another one,
And so, he failed
Then he vowed till this day,
To trust his card all the way

Conditions kept changing
But this time he wasn’t swaying,
He kept believing his card
Until nothing was left celebrating

And so, he got old
And so is his hidden card,
In his last draw, he kept wishing,
Let it be a wild, wild card.
