We’ve all been there at some point during our writing lives. We play with the keyboard hoping words start spilling out of thin air. We tap our pen against the notebook waiting for that jolt of inspiration.

It happens to the best of us. More than likely, it’s happened to all of us. It’s a little illness called Writer’s Block.

It’s never a fun time. Even at times when most determined to write, nothing comes out. So we wallow in self-pity dreaming of the day our book is published or seeing our name in print.

But it doesn’t have to be this way.

Writer’s block is a natural part of the writing process. Some might think it’ll last forever, but with the following tips, you’ll never have it again.

But how to start? It’s easy. Write 500 words a day. No exceptions.

It’s made an unbelievable change in my writing process, and hopefully it can for you too.

Write Every Day.

This is a given, but an essential one. In order to defeat writer’s block and inch closer to completing your writing project, you must write every day.
