“Hey! It’s twins!” the gynaecologist told

I was fully surprised and completely shocked.

Then she pointed her fingers towards the screen

and showed two tiny foetuses inside me.

I was scared and a lot more terrified

Because I knew things are going to be hard.

I was also confused and thinking

Whom to hold first, if both will start crying.

Double the responsibilities, double the tears

Double the sleepless nights, double the fears.

My future seemed uncertain and messy

Balancing between work and kids will not be that easy.

When I saw your body parts and felt your beating heart

I did not realise when you have become my indivisible part.

Eight months were gone just like fraction of second

And finally two tiny angles came to my hand.

You both are my most precious gifts I have ever seen

And I could not believe how lucky I have been.

Now three years have passed and you have become my indivisible part

It seems like yesterday I gave you birth.

Sometimes I feel you are “double trouble”😈😈

And sometimes I feel you are just adorable.

Sometimes I feel I am “double lucky”😊😊

Because you have made my life “live worthy”.
