It’s a very well known fact that writing all the time, 24/7, all year round is going to burn you out, not only quickly, but horrifically as well. To the point of full-blown hysterical break downs that you’d probably be much more comfortable writing about compared to living.

But I get it, you want to make sure you’re constantly working on improving your writing, your craft, your art and passion. You’ve got a piece to finish, a chapter to write, a book to edit. But let me tell you now buddy ol’ pal. Your creative juices are going to be desert-dry before you manage that if all you’ve been doing is constantly writing.

So take a break, do something else.
