There are Successful Ones, and the Hustlers, are There Forgotten Ones as Well?
I read a lot of articles, books and Facebook posts from some magazines or motivational pages and I noticed that everyone is either talking about the ones who eventually became successful after struggling, hustling and or the ones who made a bad choice that caused their companies to shut down.
Each Facebook post talks about the habit of Bill Gates and many others, or how Steve Jobs used marketing techniques, and so on.
Then there are these articles and books referring to the people who somehow didn’t apply the secret the theory that was followed by “Successful” ones to achieve their success and talks about the bad theories that kicked them to fall out of successful one’s list.
Well, I agree with all of them that there are some people who became successful and some fell down from the top for any reason we can blame them for like not innovating, not having a defined business plan or realizing why they started what they started or how customers chose other product over theirs. We can write about them because we see the concluded result.
But, I wonder if there were any people who tried all those formulas and advice shared by billionaires and millionaires and hustled all their lives till death? If they did everything we call secret to success but still couldn’t afford basic needs? But now they are not in this world so we wouldn’t know and there is no looking for such people or talking about them.
Does hustling 80 hours for decades, learning new things and do every possible or impossible task would give you success at some point in your life? (At least we hope it will) Or is it been assumed because we only remember the ones who eventually became successful or the ones who went broke because of the bad decision which are also available publicly so future hope-to-billionaire avoid them? Though, I see no signs of promises falling down the sky by nature telling you, if you hustle, if you show up every day, if you don’t give up you will gain success and will be happy rest of your life.
Maybe all these books, articles are talking about the people who were chosen to be successful or wealthy so nature could deliver jobs, foods, services through them. But they wouldn’t talk about the unsuccessful ones, maybe because that may not help sell their books to enough readers and their hope of becoming a millionaire would go down the drain.
I wonder were there and would there be people who would hustle for trendy success till the last breath and no one would ever care or know?
We only follow and read people whose success gives us hope to become to be successful someday but who knows out of billions of people in the world who are going to be the forgotten ones and who the chosen one. But hope, I guess is everything we have. But still,
I wonder, I wonder, I wonder…
