#HeresToLettingGo: Angge
I’ve got a letter,
And probably you too.
Hey you. The person behind the screen and is seemingly eager to change herself.
You probably had too much disappointments these past few years. You’ve been repetitively reminding yourself to change every year and been expecting too much. You’ve been going in circles constantly telling the whole world:
It’s time to change.
You’ve been exclaiming ‘Happy new year’ too many times as much as my fingers can count. “Happy new year, it’s time to change.”, “Happy new year, it’s time to change.”, “Happy new year, it’s time to change.”
Have you never been tired?
What I’m asking you, myself, is to let go of the thought and idea that you need to change.
I’m asking you to let go of the idea that changing yourself is necessary.
I’m asking you to fill those empty spaces in you and not occupy those filled spaces with something else.
I’m asking you to let go of the idea that you need attention when you feel down in the blues.
I’m asking you to let go of the depression over things you thought you can never carry on your own.
I’m asking you to let go of those painful emotions you probably have one right now and fill those empty spaces with a happy one.
I’m asking you to let go of what ever it is that’s holding your back.
I’m asking you to get yourself off your mind and be someone in this world — not for anything, not for anyone but for yourself.
I’m asking you to let go and not change — there’s a huge difference and a thick line separating those words.
I’m asking you to listen to me.
It’s 2016, get a grip of yourself.
Sincerely yours,
Your damaged yet still daring to live soul.
