It was a warm August day in the year 2178. The eager student entered the professor’s office and declared. “Professor, I want to use the time machine we invented to do something good for humanity.”

The professor nodded, intrigued. “And what is it that you have in mind?”

“I want to go back in time and eliminate Adolf Hitler,” the student replied.

The professor hesitated, then sighed, “Very well, but remember…”

The student didn’t wait to hear the rest. He had already started his journey to the past.

“…altering history has consequences. We can’t say the altered timeline won’t have another Hitler,” finished the professor.
