It’s a joy to care for animals, but sometimes it doesn’t go the way you expect.
Example — you think of chimps as being cute and funny, right? But an adult male chimpanzee is hella dangerous, and unpredictable. There comes a point where he can’t really be around people anymore, not without flinging poop in people’s faces or tearing the furniture apart.
This particular chimpanzee named Solomon had been, now, in his waning years in the Scientific Centre of the zoo, it was my job to enrich his captivity experience.
