The deeper you go, the wider the tunnel gets, until it broadens into a vast chamber.

Behind you, Henk is whimpering in terror.

Ahead, the demon Impachik perches on a throne that looks like a rustic cube of rock. You chuckle; the demon looks so ridiculous, it eases your fears.

At one side of the chamber is a lava pit, and at the other, roped to stray rocks, five terrified villagers.

Angelika sits at Impachik’s feet, a vacant expression on her face. She’s his puppet for now.

As you approach she rises, grasping a trident, murder in her eyes.

“Speak to the girl!” you urge.

Still whimpering, Henk moves towards his daughter and tries to calm her down. She stabs him in the leg with the trident.
